It’s the feeling that we can do something for this city without waiting from other people to take action. Because we are the city, we are the people.
The purpose of "Lunch Street" is to take full advantage of public space, to organise a real conviviality, with treats, music, fun and lots of dance. With many different people around... in other words a public gathering in the square, on the pavement, in the park instead of bunching up in traffic jams or queuing in public services…
